I've been in Palestine now for alittle more than 2 weekd and it's been a really good experience as of now. I'm not a good writter and for some reason when ir comes to politic and all that i really don't understand, but I would like to write about what the people of Palestine are going through.
Palestine as of n ow is part of Israel, (though they could be country of their own) but Israel does not want to let them go. The government of Israel have totally isolated and restricted the people of Palestine. They can't even step foot outside of Palestine. There is even a wall being bild aroung Palestine, along with many check points.
After knowing some of the people there (which they are really nice people) but their spirits are filled with this heavy oppressions that you can feel once you step foot outside the doors. For the most part you know that satan has these people in captivity. They have lost of hope for a better future. When it comes to their kids, they to teach them to have hope for something better but for the most part as they grow, they are seeing all this filth that happens to them that they start to lose it to. A small analogy: when they're kids their eyes are wide open but as they grow their eyes become narrow.
All so for women i think is even harder, but in this part its more part of culture. Women can't even be outdoors after 6pm. and is you are its because you tourist or a christian.
Now I know we have been a light here with the people we have met, but it has been very hard for us too. There has been times when I know that this heavines has gotten to us, it's even hard to descirbe this feeling. But I know that we have to keep focus on God and always be in constant pray.
If you read this just keep the people of Palestine in prayer and for the time we are here keep us in prayer. Also pray for those that here as missionaries for I know they have it hard sometimes.
Blessing to you all
